Sitkum Lane is part of a larger eastern loop connecting Myrtle Point to Coquille. It also connects with the old Coos Bay Wagon Road to the north. No great climbs on Sitkum Lane to speak of but lots of twists and turns and false flats with decent pavement and nice valley views. It's part of the annual Dornbecker fundraiser bicycle ride too.

Watch out for the turnoff at the north end, onto Lone Pine Road. The turnoff comes up really fast when heading north, and the road (on left) and sign (on right) are not very visible. Continuing straight will take one to Dora and shortly eastward the pavement ends, but Coos Bay Wagon Road continues to Sitkum, Remote, Lookingglass, and Roseburg.
